I live by this saying, ‘Carpe Diem’ meaning ‘Sieze the day’

Make most of the present moment, never waste any opportunity because you might regret it later.Always be productive and be helpful to others. Be useful to people that needs you..

Wouldn’t it be awesome to have social media in the afterlife? And if it is ever possible, how would it happen? What would be the trends and the like? Haha!

I know I haven’t done good in this blog, and I’m still trying to know my way in and out of blog making.. but this is a good start though. This is my first time in maintaining a blog, and I’ve realized that if you’re not dedicated, you won’t be able to come up with useful blog updates and the like.

One of my goals now, is to be a better blogger. And I will improve my skills even better..

“Miracle in Cell No. 7”

Who haven’t watched this Korean movie? If you still haven’t, I guess you’re missing out one trend. Many have seen this movie, and many have cried because of it. It has gained attention from Filipino viewers and in different neighboring countries.

I just really admire Koreans, and how they promote their culture through various ways. Like in their shows, their music, their food especially. It has become easier for them to share their culture to other people because they have preserved their culture, they patronize and they are very nationalistic about it.

I wish Filipinos have the same spirit in terms of promulgating art and culture.. if the Koreans can do it, ofcourse, we could too..

Social Media

Standard

It’s been a part of Filipinos daily lives to participate in social media. It has become a part of our culture nowadays. But for me, some people who use the social media are not aware of its effect to them.

Some people use social media like it’s the air that they breathe, like it’s greater necessity than food or clothing. Funny, but it is reality.

I have very randoms thoughts and opinion about social media. But to wrap it all up, I guess everyone should be responsible when using social media. Everyone should be aware and well educated about social media.

Looking for Alaska

“That’s what happens when you’re stupid and you get caught..”

– Alaska Young, Looking for Alaska (John Green)

I’ve always love reading books, and I just don’t read, I make sure I understand the story, and sometimes.. I see myself in the fictional characters of the story..

I’ve just finished reading ‘Looking for Alaska’ a few weeks ago, and I can’t help but to compare myself to Alaska.. I’m just like her in so many ways, yet we’re different from each other too.

I love how the author portrayed her character, I love how the story was able to touch my heart and made me reflect on some things in life..

I’m now reading ‘An abundance of Katherines” another John Green book, and I’ll be blogging about it soon 🙂

But wait..

Nakakatuwa

Etong mga kantang ‘to kasi, makatotohanan. Talagang pinapakita yung kultura na meron tayo. Hindi siya katulad ng mga nauusong kanta ngayon na para sa akin, eh walang masyadong sense.

Minsan lang ako makinig, pero sobrang sarap sa pandinig :))
